I thought I made one of these post long ago but can't seem to find it. So here is another one.

First off, We expect the following:

Know your class! Know your dps, tank, healing rotations. Know what the best gems are to use and so on.
Have EVERYTHING that can be enchanted done so! If you do not have one character exalted with The Sons of Hodir then best work on that before joining our raiding team.
Good gear! Yeah I know gear =/= skill but it does matter for some people and helps. We don't require a gearscore over X amount however its a good base to start. If your GS is under 4800 then you should be doing more heroics & ICC 10mans. We will not carry you!
Know the ICC boss fights. Sorry we are getting tired of holding peoples hands and teaching others. There are countless web pages with videos and strats for each ICC boss. Getting into an ICC 10man group is the best experience before 25man.
The ability to listen over Vent and follow instructions. If we call for you to use some spell then you need to be on top of using that. If we have to call for it 2-3 times then we have a problem. SHAMANS, Don't use Bloodlust just because you heard someone say the name of the spell over Vent. I would rather it be 5-10 seconds late then have someone use it when we really did NOT call for it. The officers & raid lead will be the ONLY people calling for this to be used.

What we NEED:

People to show up! If you can't make all three raid nights then it's possible we will replace you will someone who can. This also revolves around your skill level and other factors. If you show up for your first raid then we don't see you again for a week this looks bad for you.
Stable Internet connections. Always getting disconnected mid-fight is also bad. Get this fixed or we find someone who has a stable connection.
NO Ninja logging. If you're found ninja logging then you won't be coming back to raid.

When we raid. Invites START a the start time below!

Everyone must do the following BEFORE raiding with us!
(Yes even if you been in DM for 80 years)

Fill out the online app. (Only for those not in DM)
Create an account on our forums.
Activate your new account on the forums from the email sent to you.
Request access to the "Raiders" section in the forums. (Contact Avellin in-game to speed this up once you made the request.)
Post your availability HERE! If you have just joined the guild then your name will not show up yet. This relies on the WoW Armory and takes time to update.
Understand how our loot system works. I will NOT explain this to people in-game. There is just to much to go over.
Download the EPGPLootMaster mod. This is required if you want loot. See this post for detail instructions.
Understand the follow rules for ALL new raiding members.
- Awards, Penalties & Ranks!
- Raid policy regarding attendance and leaving early.
- You MUST have over 25,000 EP points before getting any loot gear over any other raider that has over 25k EP.
- You can still roll on gear! There is a LOT of gear that no one rolls on and we end up disenchanting. If no one else rolls on the item you can still get it even if you have less then 25,000 EP!
- Your attitude, attendance and performance will reflect greatly on you and determine whether you get to continue raiding with us or not.
Get raid approval by one of the raiding officers. See below.
- Tank/Melee DPS: Autbak, Unholythrash, Bossform.
- Healing: Autbak, Felixir, Bossform, Avellin.
- Caster DPS: Avellin, Bossform, Autbak.
